Agility, speed, as well as freedom of movement play a key role in all of Acronym’s designs – characteristics which seamlessly connect to Nike’s own performance-orientated product philosophy. One of the main sources of inspiration for Acronym’s functional apparel and accessories are martial arts. In order to let participants experience first-hand some of the principles of this type of activity, Errolson Hugh, co-owner and head of design at Acronym – with the help of two professional martial arts instructors – had prepared a short but intense workout to end this first part of the launch experience.

The Beinghunted. / NikeLab x Acronym LF1 Expert Talk offered an intimate look at how this particular collaboration took form. It provided participants with an idea of the concept behind the shoes and highlights the basis for this innovative project between Nike and Acronym.
