Bikini Berlin: Studio I & Nike

After a three year renovation phase, the iconic Bikini Berlin building re-opened as innovative concept mall in the spring of 2014. The Supernova / Bikini Berlin Studio concept was developed by creative agency Kemmler & Kemmler and the interior designed and built in cooperation with architect Christian Meinecke (responsible for numerous Comme des Garçons interiors) as an experimental area for future-oriented retail ideas. The first installment was a joint project with Nike as a showcase of the brand’s top footwear and apparel categories as well as a new football-inspired line of sportswear. Leading up to the Football World Cup, Bikini Berlin Studio hosted several events and managed to draw a diverse crowd of customers and creatives to this new retail location.
