Adicolor Street-Art Billboard Campaign

For the relaunch of adidas’ adicolor collection – initially released in 1983 – Berlin based agency Haeberlein&Mauerer devised a billboard campaign encouraging street artists to „legally“ deface the initial all-white public advertising spaces. Through a four-part online feature on Beinghunted.com the creative process and evolving designs were documented. In its final stage, a cut-out of a adidas adicolor sneaker was applied to each billboard thus turning the underlying „wild“ graffiti into the shoe’s customized/designed upper.
